Cricket Rules at GR Sports
Play by these 8 rules
Beamers
A full toss above waist height that hits the stumps is not out.
Bowler and keeper position
The bowler does not have to say which side they are bowling from, and the keeper does not have to say if they are keeping. It is not a no ball.
Batting alone
A batter may bat alone even if others are waiting, but then no one else gets to bat. They can be run out at either end.
Catches off the net or wall
If the ball hits the net or wall, it must be caught one-handed to be out.
Bent-arm bowling
Spin is fine. A bowler whose arm bends must bowl slowly, with no quick deliveries.
Umpire's decision is final
No arguing with the umpire.
Caught after crossing
If the batters crossed before the catch, the incoming batter takes strike.
Unclear situations
Don't argue. Follow the most recent ruling on a similar situation, and settle the question after that day's play.
